Released in January 2025, the new JMAG-Designer version marks a significant step forward in automation of the design and massive-simulation processes, with boosted and innovative functionalities which make it very easier to use and implant across all design phases of any electric machine types.
The key points of this webinar are outlined below:
❖ Capability to handle design variables with discrete values during optimization, enhancing design efficiency by aligning with standards and preventing violations of constraints.
❖ Improvements of optimization processing time for multiple concurrent executions, improving computational resource utilization. The implementation of MPP parallel support for the direct method has drastically reduced analysis times.
❖ Possibility to run vibration analysis using Transfer Functions allows fast evaluation of system-level vibrations and significantly reduce the needs for design rework.
❖ Modelling of User-defined Thermal Resistance using Python script.
❖ Automation of mesh generation functions for axial machine.
❖ Restart function for abnormal, inappropriate or undesirable terminations of FEA calculations.
❖ Integration of password management for high-fidelity JMAG-RT models ensures secure distribution and controlled usage of models. These developments collectively aim to optimize the design workflow, offering users a more efficient and secure modelling environment in model-based development.
