The future of axial flux motor simulation is promising, thanks to advancements in computational power, AI integration, and user-friendly software that provide deeper insights and streamline the design process. These innovations are driving the adoption and optimization of axial flux motors across various industries. Axial gap-type motors, known for their compact, thin construction, are particularly suited for in-vehicle applications where space is limited. Efficiency maps require a significant number of calculations, through simulations using Finite Element method however it accounts for effect of iron loss and nonlinear magnetization characteristics can be written with ease.
