Job description

You will join the JMAG Europe Technical Sales team.

JMAG is an electromagnetic simulation software developed in Japan by JSOL Corporation and used in the design of electromechanical systems (electric motors, generators, transformers, etc.). POWERSYS provides strong technical added value before and after sales for the software and its use. From engineering services to software development, POWERSYS offers the industry, research, and education a range of professional services in the field of electrical engineering.

Your missions

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients located throughout Europe.
  • Develop new business opportunities within your portfolio and drive sales pursuits with cross-functional Engineer teams.
  • Build your overall pipeline of business opportunities in addition to the initial base of active customers
  • Identify potential customers and complete appropriate research on the prospective customer’s business and technical needs
  • Develop relationships and strategies to successfully achieve new sales
  • Build and follow sales action plans to generate growth and ensure sales targets are met
  • Build commercial proposals that meet the needs of clients and prospects with the help of technical experts
  • Present and promote Powersys products and services
  • Ensure operational relationship with partners
  • Use CRM tools and update your customers’ data daily.

You have

  • An engineering degree or equivalent, with basic knowledge in electrical engineering and electrical machine design
  • A first sales experience in technical products (on engineering software would be an advantage)
  • A good knowledge of the automotive market


  • Experience in prospecting new clients with the help of CRM tools, email sequencing, but also with more personal outreach such as calls, on site meetings and networking.
  • Experience in identifying technical prospects’ needs
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to plan, organize and deliver professional formal presentations
  • You speak French and English fluently. Proficiency in German would be a real asset for this position
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable presenting complex subjects in public
  • You are dynamic, have a team spirit, and can demonstrate autonomy
  • Your responsiveness, curiosity, learning ability, and synthesis skills will be essential criteria for this position
