The Powersys Advanced e-Motor Design Conference is a premier event that brings together electric motor design experts, automotive innovators, and simulation professionals to explore the future of e-mobility through the lens of virtual prototyping and scalable CAE..
At this year’s conference, we’re going beyond the speed vs. accuracy dilemma to focus on something bigger: How can engineering teams achieve better motor designs, faster—while minimizing physical prototypes and maximizing simulation fidelity?
The agenda will feature keynotes, panel discussions, and technical deep dives that highlight the next generation of simulation workflows powered by JMAG and the JMAG Design Factory approach. This year’s sessions will focus on transforming how electric machines are designed, validated, and optimized using large-scale, multi-physics simulation.
Participants will explore how leading teams are:
- Leveraging surrogate models to speed up early design-stage decisions
- Scaling 3D simulation and optimization to evaluate thousands of motor variants
- Reducing hardware iterations with virtual testing workflows
- Integrating electromagnetic, thermal, and structural analysis from day one
- Connecting motor design with system-level simulation for end-use performance.
You can join us for our one-day Conference on Wednesday, October 1 or for the full two-day event that includes an immersive, hands-on EM design training (beginner or advanced) on Tuesday, September 1.
Expect insight-rich sessions, peer networking, and a shared vision for simulation-first development—from concept to production. Whether you’re in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or industrial applications, this is the place to see what’s next in electric motor innovation.
The venue
The Méridien – Savour the Good Life in Stuttgart
Renowned for its German wineries, medieval castles and baroque palaces, Stuttgart is a long-time royal residence and home of Mercedes and Porsche, whose museums are fascinating landmarks. In between those cultural hotspots, Le Méridien Stuttgart is located near the city center, the Old Castle and the New Castle.
Our family friendly hotel boasts elegant guest rooms and suites, as well as a spacious wellness area featuring an immersive pool, sauna area and a fully equipped gym. The green parklands of the Schlossgarten opposite the hotel is ideal for an iconic stroll or jog. Across the park, Stuttgart’s central street, the Koenigstrasse invites guests for shopping and entertainment.
