The Annual US Gathering for JMAG Users, Innovators & EM Simulation Experts

June 3–4, 2026 • Detroit, MI, USA

Hosted by POWERSYS in collaboration with JSOL

What is the JMAG User Conference ?

The JMAG User Conference Detroit 2026 is the annual meeting point for engineers, simulation experts, researchers, and industry leaders using or evaluating JMAG, the next‑generation electromagnetic (EM) simulation platform.

For 2026, the event becomes a full two‑day experience, fully refocused on JMAG, its ecosystem, and the innovations shaping the future of EM design .

A New Two‑Day Format :

Day 1 – JMAG Innovation Day

The Future of e-Design is JMAG AI

The race for electrification has entered a new era, with no room for incremental change.

The new design paradigm is simple : innovate more, innovate faster, and do it with fewer engineers.

Staying in the race demands a fundamental transformation of how we design, placing hyper productivity at the very center of engineering.

That transformation rests on three non‑negotiable capabilities:

  • Explore design spaces an order of magnitude larger through multi‑objective, multi‑variable, multi‑physics optimization.
  • Generate massive volumes of hyper‑quality data with solvers precise enough to truly replace hardware prototypes.
  • Compute at unprecedented speed through distributed simulation across thousands of cores.

For more than 40 years, JMAG has built the foundation: the most accurate and the fastest FEA engine for electromagnetics on the market.

In recent years, we have added a new dimension: surrogate models with unmatched precision, accelerating design exploration by orders of magnitude.

And today, we are crossing the next frontier. JMAG is becoming fully accessible to AI agents, capable of operating simulations end‑to‑end, autonomously, running and analyzing hyper‑precise electromagnetic models without human bottlenecks.

This is the headless transition: from simulation as a tool, to simulation as an autonomous design partner.

In the morning, we will show through real industrial case studies, how JMAG already delivers data‑driven design at scale: surrogate models, multi-physics workflows, and automated data generation.

In the afternoon, we will reveal how AI‑driven headless operation transforms these workflows into a fully autonomous design loop and share our vision for the next decade of e‑design.

Innovation Day is not a presentation. It is a working session, an open dialogue between engineers, decision‑makers, and developers on how to win the next decade of electrification.

Day 2 – JMAG User Experience Day

Industrial Case studies & data-driven simulation workflows

The second day is dedicated to customer presentations.

Most talks will illustrate state‑of‑the‑art data‑driven simulation workflows, showing how OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers, research labs, and energy companies:

  • leverage large simulation datasets,
  • integrate machine learning into EM design loops,
  • automate multiphysics analysis,
  • build scalable design processes with JMAG at the core.

This day is fully focused on real‑world industrial applications.
